Hi, I’m Niki. My partner Dave and I have been reading friends for a few years now and have taken our relationship to the next level in a few ways… most relevant to you is that now we are co-bloggers! Here’s a little bit about each of us:

Niki: Books are my passion! I’ve been reading them since I was a kid, selling them since I was sixteen (2002), and writing them since 2011. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I definitely indulge in my fair share of young adult, science fiction and urban fantasy. I’ve read quite a bit more than your average person, and love to share feedback on great books with both my customers and online following. That’s why I wanted to start blog that focuses on reviewing and recommending speculative fiction titles for those who are in need of some seriously good reading.

Dave: My story with books is a simple one. I have been reading (and accumulating) books for my entire life. You will rarely see me without one in reach. I got started as a kid as well, reading them under the covers with a flashlight when I was supposed to have been going to sleep. Sometimes I still lose some sleep to reading, although I have since upgraded to proper lighting in hopes of minimizing the strain on my aging eyes. The majority of my reading is within science fiction and fantasy, but I also like to branch out for some broader exposure. So I do read literary fiction, horror, or an occasional selection from just about any other genre.
