This year, I made a concerted effort to finish out all the books I had not yet read from my favorite adult authors. Because of this, I read practically no “new to me” fantasy authors… At least not any that I liked better than all of the great young adult books on my list. Next year, however, I feel is going to be a year of high fantasy – I just finished organizing my library yesterday and rediscovered dozens of awesome looking titles that are still begging for attention on my shelves.
What authors made your list this year?
There are some books/authors on your list I still really want to read!
The Selection, Alienated, All our Yesterdays & The Bane.
I don’t have a TBR pile anymore… I have a TBR mountain!
I still cannot believe your book case is so neat! You have a whole library :)
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday list if you want to check it out!

Oh my goodness – all of them were so good! I liked them all enough to go out and buy the hardcovers even though I had already read them on e-book. I hope you get around to them soon – I look forward to hearing your thoughts. :-) I know what you mean about the TBR mountain lol. It seems like for every one book I read I add three more to the list. Think goodness for so many great books!

I totally agree its like -1, +3, -1, +2, -1, +5.. and so the pile becomes a mountain!! But as a bookie… who is complaining… not us :) There is no reason to be bored with so many great books to read! I do the same, if a book is so brilliant I will buy the paperback for my bookshelf, but I have limited to 5 star books only now as my bookshelf is overflowing!

Thank you! It sounds like we have a lot of similar tastes – so I’m confident you will love both of the books you mentioned… All three are strong contenders for my favorite books of the year!
