Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature posted by The Broke and the Bookish. They often have really fun topics, and this one happens to be the one I’ve been waiting for!
Top 10 Books at the Top of my Summer 2013 TBR list!
- Everneath by Brodi Ashton
- Pale Demon by Kim Harrison
- Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
- The Sharing Knife by Lois McMaster Bujold
- Enclave by Ann Aguirre
- Paranormalcy by Kristen White
- Orphans of Chaos by John C. Wright
- Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
- Wither by Lauren DeStefano
- Leviathan Wakes by James Corey
I am finally at the point where I can start new series. I have had so many different ones going that I made it a concerted effort over the last few months to get caught up. As you can see, all of the books (except for Kim Harrison) are first books. You might’ve also notice that most of them are teen… what can I say? I’m on a kick.
Of all the titles, I am most excited to read Everneath – I have seen so many rave reviews that I am convinced it’s going to be amazing! I have made it my personal goal to have all of these read before the Fall 2013 TBR list is due – wish me luck!
Are any of these books on your list? Or, even better, have you read them already?
Great selection! I own Everneath, Leviathan, Enclave, Paranormalcy, Unearthly, and Wither but haven’t read them yet. I hope you get to them and enjoy them.
Happy reading!

I loved Everneath and Wither! Enclave was just okay to me, but that was mostly due to the romance more than anything else. Happy reading!

Leviathan!! YES!! I’m so excited for you to read that, I think you’ll love it. :D I read Everneath, but for some reason wasn’t enamored enough to pick up the sequel. Reeeally enjoyed Unearthly and Hallowed though, so I have no idea why I haven’t read the last book in that series yet. =S
All excellent choices though! You’re gonna have an awesome summer reading. :D

Oh good! I loved how he wrote Uglies and am super intrigued by the whole steampunk angle – your endorsement makes me all the more excited to read it. :-) We will have to see what I think about Everneath, because as it stands now I am totally dazzled by the cover lol. As for not reading the third book, I do that all the time for no good reason. It’s like I’m waiting for the perfect moment to savor it or something.
