Nik’s Notes:
Carson’s Girl of Fire and Thorns trilogy is my all time favorite teen fantasy series, and I have to say, even though the Walk on Earth a Stranger and Like a River Glorious leaned more towards historical fiction than fantasy, I enjoyed them immensely. This author writes amazing characters, compelling plot lines, and completely immerses her readers into her stories. I have no doubt Into the Bright Unknown will be a stellar conclusion to this great series.
What book are you waiting on?
I really want to read these so badly! I don’t know why I keep passing them by. I think there’s something about them that scare me.

Isn’t that such an odd holdup? I know exactly what you mean – I’m the same way with a bunch of books. And it keeps happening even though i always end up liking them haha. It’s a great series so far, I’m confident you enjoy it at least a little. :)

All time favorite, wow! I’ll have to read them ;) I have an unfortunate reflex mistrust of gorgeous YA covers, these, but I’ve heard many good things about this series. And I love a little history mixed in with my fantasy!

Yes – Girl of Fire and Thorns. I loved ever moment! These are just as good in their own right, just with a more historical spin. I also have that mistrust – we must have been burned a little to often. I have at least a dozen bad books with great covers collecting dust on my shelves. All that money wasted lol.

Oops, I missed that you specified GoF&T! But I’ve heard great things about that one, too :D Would you recommend starting there over her newer series?

Oh, that’s okay :) gack! It’s like comparing apples and oranges haha. Gof is my favorite all time, so I’m inclined to say that one. But people are generally liking this one more… lol I’m no help! :)

No help at all XD Jk, jk. I’ve heard that Gof has an interesting religious presence, so I’ve actually been really interested in that one anyway. I’ll start there ;) Thanks!
